Junior Optimist Club

The Junior Optimist Club is a group of high school students who have joined together, under the guidance of an Optimist Club, for the purpose of developing citizenship, serving the community and learning to accept the role of responsible citizens. It is sponsored by the Rock Falls Optimist Club. Its motto is “Kids helping kids”. It is the school’s community service club. There are currently five Junior Optimist Clubs in Illinois; Belleville, Deerfield, Highland, IVC and Rock Falls. Rock Falls High School was the first to be chartered.
